It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Kotula in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde Smith and Anna Smith (Bossevelle); her husband John "Tarzan" Kotula; and her brother William Smith. She is survived by: her sons, William J. Kotula (Patricia) of Wake Forest and Kenneth Kotula (Natalie) of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, William J. Kotula, Jr., Deborah Kotula, Daniel Kotula, Jennifer Moore, Michelle Hayes (Gordon) and Julie Kotula; her siblings, Nancy Weaver (Robert) of Stump Creek and Donald Smith (Ethel) of Juneau; and her sister-in-law Carol Smith of Ocala, Florida.. She is also survived by Eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
