She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Berkey and Hazel Berkey (Barnett); her husband Joseph Cukanna, Sr.; her sons, Richard and Thomas; her son-in-law Randy Vaughn; her siblings, Imogene Helsel, Anna Whitman, Clyde, Harold, Earl and Howard Berkey; and her pet Max Berkey.
She is survived by: her friend Betty; her children, Joseph, Jr. (Marilyn) of Punxsutawney, Patty Vaughn of Punxsutawney, Paul-James (Chris) of Pittsburgh, George of Punxsutawney, Billy of Punxsutawney, Barbara Fetterman (Tom) of Punxsutawney and Lynda Cukanna of Spencerville; her friend Francis "Harry" Harrold; her grandchildren, Cayla Neal (Paul Stillman), Hannah Cintineo (Frank), Ashley and Robby King; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Maxlyn and Mycha; her siblings, Elsie Young of Punxsutawney, Jane Shirey (Paul) of Punxsutawney and Paul Berkey (Ruth) of Wilton; and her sister-in-law Sue Morris of Troutville, PA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
