We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2022, at the age of 93, Barbara Rebecca Verdill of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, born in Adamsburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta E. Rhodes (Norris) and John P. Rhodes; her husband Rocco "Duke" Verdill; her daughter Joyce Ann Verdill Uzzo; and her brothers, Clark Rhodes and John "Benny" Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Verdill Gratz (Leo) of Clarion, PA, Kay DeLuca (Dave) of Slidell, LA and Michael Verdill (Mindi) of Sligo, PA; her sister Gladys Paterson of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, David Uzzo (Beth), Adam Uzzo (Melissa), Emily DeLuca Holmes (Dale), Carrie DeLuca Glahn (Austin), Andrew DeLuca (Jill), Beau Verdill and Bailee Verdill; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Kailyn Uzzo, Duke, Charlotte Uzzo, Elijah, Lucy Grace Holmes, Hudson, Luca, Hollis Glahn and Parker DeLuca; her sister-in-law Betty Rhodes of Charleston, SC; and her son-in-law John Uzzo (Katie) of Coraopolis.
