She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Burkett and Marcella Burkett (Snyder); her son Michael Mahan; and her sister Erma Burkett. She is survived by: her husband James Merle Mahan; her children, Cathy Scott (Robert) of DuBois and Chris Mahan (Christine) of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, Danica Mahan of New Hampshire and Devin Mahan of Florida; and her great grandchild Rio Gilbert. She is also survived by five step great grandchildren.
