Alverda May Slagle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2018, at the age of 99, Alverda May Slagle (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Walter Jacob. She is survived by: her parent Bessie Orella Darr (Early); her spouse Luther Wayne Slagle; her daughters, Iolene Gilson (James) of Worthville, Loretta Boerman (Bruce) of Marion and Narita Adams (Keith) of Punxsutawney; her siblings, Ruby Darr and Bernard Darr; and her granddaughter Jamey Gilson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, several step grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Cornerstone Church of God, 129 Pine St., Fairmount City, Pa. 16224.
