He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Hollenbaugh (Haire); his son Kenneth L. Hollenbaug; and his siblings, David, Louella, Esther and Sara.

He is survived by: his daughter Laura Lee Nelson (Vince) of Punxsutawney; his daughter-in-law Pamela Hollenbaugh of North East, Maryland; and his sisters, Frances Fisher (Benny) of North Tonawanda and Doris Thunburg of Beaver. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
