He was predeceased by: his parent Archie Smith; his siblings, James Smith and Edith Meteney; his daughter-in-law Lorilee Smith; and his great grandchild Edward Smith II.
He is survived by: his parent Sarah Smith; his wife Lois Smith; his children, Brian Smith of Wooster, OH, Margie Plocinik and Pulaski Twp; his grandchildren, Edward Smith (Carla), Gerry Corbett (Patrick), Justin Smith (Sara) and Ryan Plocinik (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Cari Pryor (Brandon), Caitlyn Smith, Lachlan, Max, Gavin Corbett, McKenna Smith and Lyla Smith.
