He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franz and Lillian Reitze Franz. He is survived by: his children, Susan Reeves (William) of Prosperity, Carole Mason of Charleroi and David Franz (Lesa) of Prosperity; his grandchildren, Rachel Burdette (Robert), Audrey Hassenfeldt (Charles), Megan Reeves (Elroy Van Horn), John Ethan Franz and Julia Kay Franz; and his great grandchildren, Henry and Oliver Hassenfeldt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
