John McMurdy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McMurdy of Prospect, Pennsylvania, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel and Leora Knight McMurdy; his son Robert Christie McMurdy; and his brothers, William McMurdy and Kenneth McMurdy.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sue" Lesnett McMurdy; his children, Jonathan McMurdy (Rebecca Jackman) of Slippery Rock and Shawn McMurdy (Carrie) of Plain Grove; his grandsons, Ethan, Gavin and Landen McMurdy; his father-in-law Roy Lesnett of Harlansburg; his sisters, Bonnie Lesnett (Roy, Jr) of Harlansburg and Linda Dickey (Pete Summers) of Grove City; and his sister-in-law Deb McMurdy of Slippery Rock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in laws.
Visitation, with covid 19 requirements in affect, will be on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2pm to 5pm at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PC, 387 Main Street, Prospect.
