He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Carchidi; and his brother Samuel Carchidi. He is survived by: his children, Helen Caron (Arthur), Michael Carchidi (Donna), Laura Scardecchio (Ernest) and Matthew Carchidi (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Duncan, Amber, Michael Jr., Joseph, Katherine Jo Anne, Aaron, Savannah, Victoria, Ryan and Adriana; and his sibling Catharine MacDonald.
