He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantine Maffei and Louise Sanders Maffei; and his wife Margaret E. Bothner Maffei. He is survived by: his children, Ruth "Sue" Robertson, Kim A. Kearney (Tim), Anthony Beauchamp (Kathy) and John Maffei (Bonnie); and his siblings, Otto Maffei, Joseph Maffei, Dolores Hilferty and Bob Bothner (Della). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
