She was predeceased by: her husband Jeres T. Achkar; her parents, Angel Ibanez and Celia Ibanez (Rubido); and her sibling Elba Ibanez. She is survived by: her son Dr. Antonio Achkar; her child-in-law Dr. Venus Hadeed; and her grandson Christopher Achkar. She is also survived by loving extended family including Nieces, Great Nieces and Great Nephew.
