He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Parfitt and Mary Parfitt; his wife Eileen C. Seltzer; his sister Doris Powers; and his daughter-in-law Sunday Parfitt.

He is survived by: his children, Martiann Parfitt of Sacramento, CA, William Parfitt of Pottsville and Wayne Parfitt of Newport News, VA.; his grandchildren, Catherine (Ali), Abigail, Benjamin of Newport News, VA, Donald of Norfolk, VA and Josiah of Kileen, TX; and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Brooke, James, Olivia and Parker.
