In loving memory of Vita (Modica) Valenti of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Vita leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmelo Modica and Catherine Modica (Genova); and her husband Filippo Valenti. She is survived by: her sons, Vito Valenti (Kelli) of Pottsville and Carmelo Valenti of Orwigsburg; her siblings, Joseph Modica and Lia Nielli; and her grandchildren, Phillip, Gabriella, Vito, Filippo, Olivia, Lucia and Samson Valenti.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (201 Randel St, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
