Ruth E. Brown Obituary
We bid farewell to Ruth E. Brown of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard J. Lord and Martha G. Griffiths Lord; her husband Lamar; her children, David R. Brown and Jane Louise Toth; her cousin David Griffiths; her sisters, Martha Jane Lord and Catherine Buchanan; and her granddaughter Michelle Lee Moyer Johnson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jenny Andrews (Cory) of Wilkes Barre, Marilen Ogin of Forty Fort, Josephine Brown of Clark Summit, Shirley Brown of Wilkes Barre, Crystal Staller, David of Pottsville and Thomas Fronza of Ohio. She is also survived by several great grandchildren along with a great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grabowski Funeral Home (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
