With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rose M. Kauffman of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Chiplonia and Anna Chiplonia (Zawatsky); her former husband Robert L. Kauffman; and her siblings, Julian Chiplonia and Mary Hess.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Kauffman; her granddaughters, Ashley Nicastro and Kelsey Kabes (Tyler); her great grandchild Oaka Robert Kabes; and her brothers, Frank and Thomas Chiplonia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Robert A Evans Jr. Funeral Home (208 Pike St, Port Carbon, PA 17965). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church (319 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Schuylkill Memorial Park (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972).
