It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose M. Johnson of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, born in Denbo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sarkett and Julia Sarkett (Basco); and her husband Ronald Y. Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda M. Johnson and Renee Rudnick (David) of Wyndmoor, PA; her grandchildren, Julianna, Gabriella and Ethan Rudnick; and her siblings, Clara Bogner of North Versailles, PA and Ronald Sarkett of Belle Vernon, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and an abundance of special friends.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to First United Methodist Church 330 W. Market St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
