She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Brahler, Jr. and Elizabeth Brahler. She is survived by: her husband Gerard J. Newton; her daughters, Victoria Newton and Elizabeth Newton; and her siblings, Joseph Brahler III, Frances Mickey, Mary Beth Brahler, Diane Keese and Kristine Yeastedt (Frederick). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family prefers donations to Mountain Shadow Veterinary Hospital, 64 Kiehner Road, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
