Mary Ellen Whalen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2022, at the age of 98, Mary Ellen Whalen of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bowers and Rebecca Bowers (Long); her husband Peter A. Whalen; and her siblings, John, Joseph, Norman Bowers, Arlene McIntyer and Gayle Ash.
She is survived by: her children, Fay A. Whalen of Tustin, CA, Peter A. Whalen (Melanie) of La Quinta, CA and Robert J. Whalen of Pottsville; her grandson John Luciano (Kim); her son Mark Luciano (Alice); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan and Christopher; and her sister Nancy Davis. She is also survived by several cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
