He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis R. Sr. Achenbach and Lottie Baney Achenbach; and his brother Charley Achenbach. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Lewis R. Achenbach III, Cynthia of Wheaton, IL and Leah Joy Kovack (Michael III) of Ashburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Grace Achenbach, Michael IV and Caleb Lewis Kovack; his great grandchild Michael Kovack V.; and his brother Jesse Achenbach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
