With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L. Russell of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Russell and Alice Russell (Sherriff); his wife Charlotte Russell (Rexon); and his siblings, Harry, Arthur and Dolly Russell.

He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Brensinger; his grandchildren, Steven John Russell-Rhen (Kaitlyn) and Hope Alexis Rhen; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Nicole Rhen and Kaidah McKenzie Kelly; and his siblings, Robert Russell, Alice Russell and Doris Fessler.
