We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 94, John H. Dillow Jr. of Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Sr. Dillow and Anna E Smolinsky Dillow; his wife Carol Francis Knittle; and his sisters, Elise M. Schreader and Anna E. Umbenhauer.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Bilansky of Pagosa Springs, CO, Dawn Kemmer of Orwigsburg, PA, Daniel Dillow of Chromo, CO, Darlene Yanosky (Donald Dillow) of Shamokin, PA. and Kirchardt. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home (1112 W Market St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
