She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Neifert and Lillian Neifert (Moser); her husband Jerome Barton; her grandson Gregory Barton; and her great grandchild Tim Witman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Bowers (John), Beach and NJ; her grandchildren, Amy Witman of Jerome, Jacob Barton, Heidi Scythes and Rachel McDill; her great grandchildren, Peter David Witman II, Tyler Barton, Eli Barton and Emilie McDill; and her great great grandchildren, Abriella and Lukah Witman.
The family would prefer contributions be made in Jean's memory to the Hillside SPCA 51 SPCA Road Pottsville PA 17901.
