He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd H. Sr. Steidle and Alma Deibler Steidle; his stepmother Catherine Ash Steidle; and his brothers, Lloyd H. Steidle, Jr. and Bobby Steidle.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lamb "Lynn" Steidle; his children, James Tyler "Ty" Steidle (Lindsey), Michael Steidle (Diedre) of Katy, TX and Elizbeth "Beth" Ciavarella (Harry); his grandchildren, AJ, Emily, Zane and Maddie Steidle; his children, Aiden, Noah Steidle of Katy, TX, Harrison, Ava and Alexandra Ciavarella; and his stepsiblings, Rev. Kathleen Ash and William Ash.
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Jim be made to the James K. Steidle Memorial Fund, C/O Howard S. Fernsler Academic Center, 1501 Laurel Blvd Pottsville, PA 17901.
