With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis H. Barton of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Barton and Celestine Starr Barton; his brother Jerome Barton; his son-in-law Michael Maley; and his siblings-in-law, F. Allen Artz, Jr. and Jean Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Mayernick Barton; his children, Robert Barton (Robin), William Barton (Christina) and Linda Maley; his grandchildren, Samantha (Matthew), Shawn (Katie), Cassidy, Lindsey and Alex; and his sister Diane Barton Artz. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home (1112 W Market St, Pottsville, PA 17901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
