It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Gavaletz of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gavaletz and Anna Gavaletz (Verbosh); and his sister-in-law Donna Gavaletz. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce A. Gavaletz (Snyder); his children, Francis "Butch" (Dale), Auburn, Mikaela and Joseph E. (Monica); his grandchildren, Aaron, Katriona and England; and his brother Joseph Gavaletz. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
