He was loved and cherished by many people including: his stepfather Jerry Alsieux; his grandson Daniel Pierson; his mother Shirley Alsieux; his wife Sherry Benning (Marcovitch); his children, Melissa Pierson (Ryan), Samuel Benning (Bree), Brian Benning (Nicole) and Jozef Widuch (Agata); his grandchildren, Zoey, Travis (Samantha), Damien, Angel, Braedon, Peyton, Cooper and Parker; his siblings, Julie (Chuck), Debbie (John) and Duane (Marsha); and his pet Skippy. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
