He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest H. Ehlers and Kathryn Klusinsky Ehlers; and his brothers, Ernest and Allan Ehlers. He is survived by: his wife Marsha A. Slatick Ehlers; his children, Edward Ehlers, Paula Bubeck (Richard) and Marsha Ann Schwalm (James); his granddaughter Tiffany Schell; and his pet Samuel. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
