It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Kalenkoski of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lawson and Dorothy Lawson (Coyle); her son Gene Zimmerman; her grandson AJ Zimmerman; and her sister LaVerne Yackel.
She is survived by: her children, Genine Yurcho (Mark), Gina'Angel'Mays, Al Zimmerman, Dan Zimmerman (Dina), Jude Kalenkoski (Sean) and Jonathan Kalenkoski (Melissa); and her daughter-in-law Renee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are asked to be made to the Pottsville Salvation Army, in Memory of Bernadette.
