He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Richard and Mabel Reed (Smith); his wives, Marie I. Reed and Gertrude Reed; his son Daniel Callaghan; and his siblings, Leafie Reed Stephens, Irvin Reed Jr., Donald Reed, Lamar Reed, Russell Reed, Carl Reed and Marilyn Mengel.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Callaghan (Ingrid), Denise Webber (Robert) and Debra (Charles D. Donahue Jr.); his grandchildren, Michael Callaghan (David) of Odessa, Robert Webber Jr., Danielle Cushman (Travis) and Stephanie Donahue; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Molly and Madeline Cushman of Oley.
