He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Haines and Irene E. Haines (Sonon); and his brother Brian Haines. He is survived by: his children, Eric Haines (Kelly) of Oley and Lisa Bortz (Ryan) of Oley; his brothers, Robert, Mark and Kurt Haines; and his grandsons, Ian, Gavin, Spencer and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
