He is survived by: his grandchildren, Pinocle, Uno and Skipbo; his wife Bermuda; his children, Thomas A. O'Connor (Sheila) of Reading, PA, David J. O'Connor (Laura) of Pottstown, PA., Rosemarie O'Connor of Pottstown, PA., Kathleen M. O'Connor of Pottstown, PA., Eagle Scouts and Gold Award Scouts; his granddaughter Katelyn O'Connor (Silver Award Scout); and his sister Rita (Pat) of Phoenixville, PA..

When Tom returned from the army, he continued his electrical apprenticeships, where he helped wire the stage at Freedom Valley Foundation (next to Valley Forge Park) so that the next day President Eisenhower was able to give a speech there.
