She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur "Art" Ray Shaffer, Jr.; her parents, Stephen Cushman and Evelyn Cushman (Adamski); and her sisters, Lucille Burton, Cecilia Dice, Victoria Haas and Evelyn C. Gondal.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur S. Shaffer, III (Christina), Stephen Shaffer (Jamie) of Sinking Springs, PA, Wendy (Charlie Sell) and Brenda Morgan of Newfoundland, PA; and her brother Stephen Cushman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
