He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Bernhard and Irene Bernhard (Turoczi). He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Arendt (Eric); his brother John "Fred" Bernhard; his grandson Grayson Arendt; and his sister-in-law Mary Lenhardt.
