It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Jo Esterly (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Hess and Marguerite Hess (Thomas); and her sister Kay Ann Steely. She is survived by: her husband Richard (Rick); her sons, Richard Esterly (Lan), Brian Esterly (Rose) and Thomas Esterly (Erin); her sisters, Peggy Gotschall, Jane Malmsberry and Mary Bell; and her grandchildren, Katie Alyssa, Chloe Te, Keith Thomas, Erica Stockwell, Ethan Richard, Ava Marie, Margaret Hess, Brendan James, Richard William and Lewis Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Saint Thomas More outreach to provide for the needy.
