It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill Shirey (Pottstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm C. Sr. Shirey and Anna Shirey (Sninski); and his siblings, Malcolm Shirey Jr. and Barbara Bolonski. He is survived by: his children, Lori Prueitt (Brad) and Merrill Douglas Shirey Jr. (Kristine); his grandchildren, Benjamin Prueitt, Nicholas Prueitt and Alexandria Shirey; and his brother Glen Shirey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merrill's memory to the charity of your choice.
