She was predeceased by: her husband Darwin Spencer Smale; her parents, Mathias Rhoads and Emma Rhoads; and her siblings, Lloyd Rhoads and Pauline Wilhelm.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Richard Phillips; her son Terry; her daughter-in-law Kathy Smale; and her grandchildren, Amy Holden, Charles Holden, Lindsey Phillips and Michael Smale.
