She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Schell and Catherine Schell (Diehl); her siblings, Richard Schell, Bonnie Strunk and Patricia Strunk; and her granddaughter Veronica Fitzcharles.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Thompson (James), Carmen Coccie, Patricia Greig (David), Mark Gaugler (Dawn) and Holly Ruppert (Richard); her grandchildren, Deanna Crites, Richard Crites, Robert Mathias Jr., Ashley Illick, Brandon Mathias, Melonie Gaugler, Bradley Gaugler and Tyler Mathias; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Riley, Dominic, Luke and Cheyenne; and her stepchildren, Diane Lightcap (late George), Joanne Fitzcharles (Glenn), David Gaugler and Cindy Young (Ron). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 19 great, great grandchildren.
