McCloskey of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 90, on June 27, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCloskey and Freda McCloskey (Faist); and his siblings, James McCloskey, Dolores Kelly and Jane Andress.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie McCloskey (Schrameyer); his children, Karen Garvey (Robert), John McCloskey (Susan) and Kevin McCloskey (Regina); his grandchildren, Augusta Garner (Jaysen), Amanda Garvey, Kyle McCloskey, Justin McCloskey, Brianna McCloskey and Nolan McCloskey; and his brothers, Alexander McCloskey and Joseph McCloskey (Maureen).
