He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph and Mary Ann Brett (Gillespie); his siblings, Jim Brett (Ann), Francis Brett (Nancy), Brenden Brett (late Taffy) and Daniel Brett (Kathy); and his brother-in-law John Blanchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Jacinta (Blanchfield); his children, Gerard Martin Brett (Colleen), Aidan Terence Brett (Darrell), Aisling Marie Adams (Edward) and Deirdre Margaret Millrood (Gabriel); his grandchildren, Cora, Maeve, Finn, Brett and Cian; his siblings, Mary Wall (late Don) and Charles Brett (late Agnes); and his siblings-in-law, Anna Seymour, Noel Blanchfield and Patricia Power.
