She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Howell and Mabel Howell (Richardson); and her son Jimmy Barton. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Thomas (late Richard), Robert R. Barton (Naomi), Lora L. Davidheiser (Timothy), Carol Nowery (Douglas) and Darrell W. Barton (Jill). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
