He was predeceased by: his wife Ida May Brunner (Shearer); his parents, Lawrence Brunner and Kathryn Brunner (Sassaman); and his brothers, Donnie and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Ida May "Bunny" (Dave), Fay (Jack), Laura (Dan), David Jr. (Andrea), Karen and Sharon (Steve); and his siblings, Lois, Marie, Jean and Tom. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
