He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Schmitt (Kurtz) and Curtis R. Schmitt; his wife Lucy; and his brother Raymond Schmitt. He is survived by: his children, Curtis G. Schmitt and Catherine L. Horan; his sister Arline Pollini; and his granddaughters, Amelia and Lily.
