She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Essick; her parents, Clair Hoff and Mary Hoff Erb (Reed); her granddaughter Shannon Essick; her sister Shirley; and her brother-in-law William Schiel.
She is survived by: her children, Verna Yost, Donna Hodges (Thomas Donkin) and Edward Essick (Deborah); her grandchildren, Guy Hodges Jr. (Sarah), Danna Yerkes (David), Nikki Harrington and Tanna Essick; her great grandchildren, Syndell Gabriel (Caleb Godles), Guy Hodges III, Jacey Yerkes, Grant Yerkes and Brandon Harrington; her siblings, Edwina Fekete (Paul) and Scott Hoff (Ann); and her pets, Meesha and Lucky.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (701 Farmington Ave, Pottstown, PA 19464).
