She was predeceased by: her husband John Leary; her parents, John H. Longaker and Harriett Longaker (Wentz); and her siblings, John Longaker and Adeline Lynne Maack.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas L. Canning of Frederick, MD and Webster B. Canning, III; and her sister Carol Gavin of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
