With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne McGowan Taylor of Portersville, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Hetrick and Josephine Hetrick (Kelly); her grandparents, James C. "Pop" and Alice Kelly (Jackson); her daughter Richelle J. Fedrizzi (McGowan); her grandson Kody Sarnese; her siblings, John E. "Jack" Hetrick and Lucy Dollar; and her son-in-law Roger Brain.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Brain of West Sunbury, Greg McGowan (Geraldine Kratz) of Trempealeau, WI, Lisa McCluney (Dave) of Dover, DE, Kelley McGowan of Portersville, Richard McGowan of Harrisville, Teresa McGowan (Tom Sommers) of Portersville and Bernard McGowan of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Kristopher Sarnese, Devin Brain, Taylor Fedrizzi and Arden Webster; her great grandchildren, Chase Brain, Avacyn Fedrizzi and Brooklyn Sarnese; her siblings, Kay Riley of Chicora, Charles "Chuck" Hetrick (Alice) of Chicora and Terry Moore (Kathy) of Sebastian, FL; and her brother-in-law John Dollar of Butler. She is also survived by her loving cat, "Booger", as well as her step children, step grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
