He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Hodgkinson and Emma Hodgkinson (Inman); his brother-in-law Richard "Whitey" Rosman; his wife Patricia "Patty" Hodgkinson (Gavlak); his children, Mark Hodgkinson (Jennifer) and Elaine (Ryan Herman); his grandchildren, Nathan and Jenna Hodgkinson; and his sister Emma Jane Rosman.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Windber Hospice.
