With solemn reverence, we commemorate Samuel Resconich of Portage, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on January 8, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Samuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karl Resconich and Mary Resconich (Patney); and his siblings, George Resconich and Dorothy M. "Pee Wee" Resconich. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Peter & Paul Byzantine Church (143 Church Rd, Portage, PA 15946). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
