With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Husband of Portage, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Dorothy and Beatrice Dorothy (Trusik); his wife Denise (Galla); his sister Sharon (Edward Squillario); his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Lindsey, Michael, Melissa, Adam, Cory, Ryan, Steven, Luke, Rachel and Alisha; his parents-in-law, Edward, May Galla, Karen (Paul Chobany), Valerie Contakos, Gary and Brian Galla; and his close friends, Laura Tavernini, Francine Shuty and Jeff Maul. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cambria County SPCA, ALS association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Trinity United Methodist Church, Portage.
