It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Allen Decker of Portage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Martin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Martin. Though Martin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Marty's memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
